During my tenure at Balco, I led the creation of numerous logos and brands, often accompanied by promotional campaigns, for both new and enhanced products. Below is a curated selection of the most notable logos and brands I developed.
Balco, Inc. – 2017-2024
This product is a modular exterior wall expansion joint system, able to blend into the surrounding wall usually by accommodating the adjacent finishing within its infill design. This prevented an unsightly vertical line up the side of a building, effectively hiding the joint from view, ideal for architects.

This product is an interior floor "pan system," able to accommodate the adjacent flooring inside its deep pan design. This made it seamless across floor transitions both aesthetically and for foot traffic. The product could also easily withstand up to ±100% "converging" movement of the two sides of the joint.

This private-label brand is a sound-stopping STC-rated compressed seal for interior partition walls and ceilings, head of wall, exterior curtain walls, etc.

This roof expansion joint product is loaded up with features including full axis movement, weather resistance, load bearing (snow, etc.), and easy installation. The brand name was born out the verb tense of the word, meaning to cover absolutely and with totality.

MetaFlex and MetaFlex Pro are a family of high-performance fire barriers for expansion joints, engineered to accommodate up to 3-hour fire ratings, withstand movement up to 72-inch max joint open, and third-party tested and listed in accordance with UL 2079 and ASTM E1966.

This interior expansion joint system was named for its thin sightline and thin profile. It is packed with features, such as full axis movement, lightweight panel, magnetic attachments for easy re-engagement, clean edges with no exposed fasteners, seamless transitioning to surrounding drywall, etc.
